WELCOME TO THE NEBAS BASEBALL LEAGUE WEBSITE

Started in the mid 1980s the Nebas League has been a fixture serving towns in  Bergen County. The goal of the league is to keep alive local town travel baseball and to give all kids, no matter their ability, an opportunity  to play travel baseball. From our 8u coach pitch to 13u senior division we offer competitive divisions for our fall, spring and summer seasons. The league's fundamental principles are sportsmanship, fairness and developing the love for the game in our youth.

We are all excited for the Spring Season to start this weekend and all schedules have been posted for all teams!

- Rules have been posted to the "Rules" portion of this site.  Please take time to review.  The league also held an optional league rules meeting on Wedensday March 26th via zoom.   A recording of this meeting can also be found on the "Rules" portion of this site.

- All teams please make sure that your rosters are submitted.

- Score reporting will be completed via the SportsEngine app which can be found in the app store.  For detailed instructions on score reporting please visit the "Score Reporting" section of this site.

Below is some info on the NEBAS Spring/Summer league.

SPRING LEAGUE

• 8 game regular season
• Season starts on March 31st
• Season ends Wednesday May 28th
• Due to Easter and Memorial day weekend, we are building in an extra week so you do not have to play on Memorial day weekend.
• Competitive divisions using A, B C rankings
• Top 6 teams make the playoffs
• Playoffs weekend of June 1st and June 8th
• Finals Sunday June 15
• Waiver can be requested for kids born in July or August that miss 9/1 cutoff

For Coach pitch – we have received some requests to have a modified kid pitch. We will try to accommodate. For the American division, we would have kids pitch 2 innings. Subject to enough teams agreeing to play in the American division. If we do not have at least 6 teams agreeing, we would not offer. We will also offer National division which will not have kids pitch. More info to follow on this.

SUMMER LEAGUE

• Starts the week of June 16th
• Registration will open April 15th and close June 5th
• 2 games a week – during the week
• 10 game regular season
• Regular season will end on Sunday July 20
• Playoffs the week of July 21st
• Championship week July 28th
• League finished by 8/1
• Same as spring – competitive divisions based on rankings
