Hi all, just a couple of reminders as we get closer to Spring baseball:

1. Registration deadline is March 15. We would like to start to make the divisions and schedules that night so please don’t wait to register.

2. The registration process is on our website. Please see News & Announcements below for instructions how to register. We have gotten zero complaints and we believe the new process will make communication a lot easier when we start the season.

3. Coaches – we are going to have a zoom call in April before the season starts to discuss the rules. All coaches are welcome. This is not mandatory but we will likely do each season for new coaches. Please look out for that date.

4. Free Agency – if you do not have enough kids to make a team please let us know. We have a group of 9u and 11u kids that are looking to possibly combine. We will coordinate for you. We would like all kids that want to play to be on a team. Possibly two towns can combine or even out the numbers so everyone can play. (Note: if a town is looking to combine or multiple kids from one town please contact the NEBAS board at nebasleague@gmail.com. If only one player is looking for a team to play in, please use the free agent form at the top.)

5. Rules for Spring are now posted under Documents. One of the issues that has been constantly raised with us since we took over the league is the age requirement and kids who miss the cut from playing with their friends because they are born during the summer months. In an attempt to try to resolve this issue and not change the competitive nature of the league, we are allowing for limited waiver (to be approved by the board). Please review in the rules re this waiver.
